A: Scan2Pay signage leverages SpotHero’s trusted brand and multiple wallet integrations (Credit Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal) for a seamless way to pay for parking onsite at un-gated facilities. Drivers simply scan the sign’s QR code with their phone, adjust the booking duration, enter their license plate information, and finalize the booking using our secure payment options.
Q: How much does Scan2Pay signage cost?
A: We provide a complimentary Scan2Pay signage and installation service for both our new and existing SpotHero partners. Additionally, we offer recommendations to help maximize the visibility of the signage, which can include advice on the optimal number of signs required and their suitable locations.
Q: How do I manage my Scan2Pay location profile (rates, inventory, etc)?
A: After your Scan2Pay signage is installed, a new Scan2Pay location profile will be available within your SpotHero Control Panel. Click here for a demo.
Q: How will I know when someone books parking through the signage on-site?
A: All reservation details for your Scan2Pay location will be available in the SpotHero Control Panel under the Reservations tab.
Q: How do I track revenue generated from my signage on-site?
A: All revenue is trackable in the SpotHero Control Panel under the Accounting tab.
Q: How does my Scan2Pay location interact with my standard digital app-based profile?
A: Scan2Pay profiles currently run independently of your digital profile, meaning they do not currently share inventory, rates, blackouts, or revenue with app-based reservations.
Q: How do I customize and manage my rates?
A: We provide an online management portal that enables you to track reservations and revenue, adjust inventory, update availability, and edit rates in real time.
Q: Are there any security protocols in place at SpotHero to safeguard landlords and operators from QR scams?
A: We've implemented security enhancements for SpotHero's Scan2Pay signs to shield our partners from QR scams. These enhancements comprise of a supersized QR codes, a direct URL option on signage, color-specific instructions, SpotHero-branded checkout, and a special warning on the signage.
Q: How will my parking enforcement team track and monitor transactions made through SpotHero?
A: We integrate with most major parking enforcement companies (T2, Passport, BallParc, OmniPark, etc.) and additionally provide our partners with an easy-to-use license plate look-up tool which gives enforcement teams the ability to quickly confirm valid parking through license plate numbers.
