We’re excited to announce that all locations on SpotHero that offer airport parking are transitioning to our advanced pricing tool, Flex Rates.
This upgrade provides airport locations with greater flexibility and control over pricing, helping optimize revenue through advanced rate management features such as early booking discounts, multi-day discounts, and temporary rates.
What does the migration mean for your rates?
By default, rates will appear in both airport and transient search flows (unless your facility has different airport and transient rate configurations), increasing visibility to potential customers.
Rate management will remain centralized on the Control Panel Airport Rates page (unless your facility has different airport and transient rate configurations), where you now have access to new self-service rate editing and calendar tools.
Managing rates in the Control Panel*
Use the calendar to plan ahead for busy travel periods and create special pricing offers that drive more sales.
Manage Default Rates: Fine-tune daily default rate bands to stay aligned with driver demand.
Offer Multi-day Discounts: Maximize revenue and improve search visibility by incentivizing 24+ hour reservations with targeted discounts.
Set Temporary Rates: Stay competitive as demand shifts with date-specific temporary rates you can easily manage directly in the airport calendar.
Add Early Booking Discounts: Stay ahead of demand and stand out in search by encouraging drivers to reserve 24+ hours in advance. Early booking discounts can’t be configured yet in the Control Panel. Reach out to your SpotHero Rep for help getting them set up.
*For facilities with externally managed airport rates (via API), rates are view-only in the Control Panel.
