Definitions

  • Transient and/or Airport Inventory: The maximum number of spots available for transient and/or airport rates. This inventory applies when there are no overlapping inventory exceptions.

  • Inventory Exceptions: Allows for one-time or repeat customization of transient and/or airport inventory by day, date, or time period. Inventory exceptions override the number set in the Transient and/or Airport Inventory section for the given time period.

One-Time Exception

To make a one-time change to inventory, specific the Total Stalls and select the applicable start date/time and end date/time.

Example: You expect fewer drive-up cars than normal on Monday, so you create an exception to increase online inventory to 100 that day.

Note: Use the All Day checkbox if you would like to default the time frame to 12:00am-11:59pm for the day(s) selected.

Repeat Exception by Day

To make an inventory change that repeats on specific days of the week, specify the Total Stalls and enter the start date/time and end date/time for the first exception occurrence. Turn on Repeat Exception and check off the days of the week that the exception should repeat. Finally, select if the exception should have an end date or never end.

Example: You expect fewer drive-up cars than normal every Monday/Wednesday/Friday morning in May, so you create an exception to increase online inventory to 100 between 8:00am-12:00pm each M/W/F until June 1st.

Repeat Exception by Week

To make an inventory change that repeats weekly, specify the Total Stalls and enter the start date/time and end date/time for the first exception occurrence. Turn on Repeat Exception and select if the exception should have an end date or never end.

Example: You want to increase your inventory on weekends so you create an exception to increase online inventory to 100 every Friday at 5pm until Monday at 5am, indefinitely.
